NEW YORK -- CP3 mimicked giving CPR on a night that looked like lots of laughs for Los Angeles. Puma Suede Offerta .Funny turned to fiery by the end, as an enraged Doc Rivers was thrown out as his team blew one in Brooklyn.Sean Kilpatrick scored 31 of his career-high 38 points after the third quarter and the Nets stopped a seven-game losing streak with a 127-122 double-overtime victory over the Clippers on Tuesday night. The Clippers started the game without Blake Griffin, ended it without Rivers and dropped their third straight game by coughing up an 18-point lead while not showing enough respect for the game in their coachs mind.We were walking around like we done something and that bothers me because weve done (nothing). We havent done (anything), Rivers said. For us to walk around against a team, that to me is playing their hearts out every night just to win one game, us to walk around like we done something, it bothers me on a basketball level.Chris Paul had 26 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds for the Clippers, but the best guard on the floor in crunch time was Kilpatrick, who also had a career-best 14 rebounds.Brook Lopez added 27 points for the Nets, who trailed 86-68 with 2 minutes left in the third quarter. We were down 20, then next minute you know we just kept chipping it down, Kilpatrick said. Then next minute I knew we were down four, and I was like yo, its on now. Its game time.DeAndre Jordan had 21 points and 23 rebounds for the Clippers, who rested Griffin, their leading scorer, ahead of a game in Cleveland on Thursday.Anybody in the league knows, they say, you mess with the game and like you said, the basketball gods got us, Paul said. The Clippers started 39-year-old Paul Pierce, who had played in just two games, in place of Griffin. Pierce had played just 17 minutes all season but logged 29 minutes in this one, such an increase in workload that Paul pushed down on his chest a few times on the court at one point, pretending to give CPR after Pierce fell on his back while being fouled on a dunk attempt. The Clippers were serious by the end.Rivers was tossed late in the first OT, becoming enraged and having to be held back by Clippers players and assistants as he tried to get at referee Ken Mauer. Rivers appeared upset about a call on the other end of the floor, walking out of the coaching box and almost all the way to the Nets bench.Mauer said crossing over midcourt was an automatic technical and the second was for language and behavior.Rivers missed Kilpatricks masterful finish, which he capped with a three-point play with 13.5 seconds left. The Nets, still playing without point guard Jeremy Lin, ended a skid that started with a 127-95 loss at the Clippers on Nov. 14.Los Angeles had lost in Detroit and Indiana in its last two games, managing just 70 points Sunday against the Pacers in its lowest-scoring game in 13 years. Rivers pointed to some defensive lapses as the bigger concern, and they certainly struggled to stay in front of Kilpatrick, who was just 3 for 14 after three quarters.TIP-INSClippers: J.J. Redick made a 3-poiner in his 75th straight game, tying one of Stephen Currys streaks for sixth-longest in NBA history. Currys NBA-record 157-game streak was snapped earlier this season.Nets: Coach Kenny Atkinson still couldnt give a timetable on Lin, saying the point guard who missed his 12th straight game with a strained left hamstring was working hard and progressing as planned.DOC IS JUST A NICKNAMEThe Clippers have increased their spending on biometrics this season, and Rivers -- first name Glenn -- was asked if he relied on that to determine Griffin would sit.I clearly didnt, Im not smart enough to use biometrics, Rivers said. But the people we hired did, and they told me biometrically that this would be a good day for him to rest.UP NEXTClippers: Visit Cleveland on Thursday night. The Clippers have lost the last four meetings.Nets: Host Milwaukee on Thursday night, opening a home-and-home series against former Nets star and coach Jason Kidds Bucks, who have won the last five meetings.---Follow Brian Mahoney on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/Briancmahoney Puma Scarpe Basket Heart . -- New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Reis is retiring after a 16-year career to become the goalie coach for the Los Angeles Galaxy. And follow TSN.ca right through Deadline Day for all the updates. From Pierre LeBrun While Anaheim GM Bob Murray said earlier this season he was not going to trade Jonas Hiller despite the fact hes an unrestricted free agent on July 1, some sources have told TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun that Murray might be willing to move another goalie. OAKLAND, Calif. -- City and county officials approved opening negotiations with an investment group on a possible $1.3 billion stadium project that supporters hope will sway the Oakland Raiders to stay in Oakland. The approvals Tuesday give an investment team anchored by Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott and former quarterback Rodney Peete the right to negotiate a formal agreement for a $1.3 billion stadium that includes $350 million in public money. The Alameda County Board of Supervisors voted earlier Tuesday, with the Oakland City Council voting later in the night.Seven city council members voted to enter negotiations with Lott. One council member abstained. Earlier in the day, three of five county supervisors voted yes after more than three hours of discussion and testimony in a room sparkling with sports celebrities.Lott said after the county vote that the work is just beginning. We still have a long ways to go, he said. We still have to convince the NFL. We still have to convince [Raiders owner] Mark Davis. Weve got a long ways to go, but today is a great day and a great moment for Raider Nation.Earlier this year, Davis said he was committed to moving the Raiders to Las Vegas, where a $1.9 billion stadium project has been approved. Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf vowed to continue working on a counter-proposal for the Raiders to stay at the Oakland Coliseum.A move to Nevada is not certain, though a vote by the NFL on whether to allow the move is possible as soon as January. Nevada will raise $750 million from a hotel tax to fund the stadium, with billionaire casino mogul Sheldon Adelson contributing $650 million and the Raiders and NFL kicking in $500 million. The Raiders must get approval from 24 of the 32 NFL owners to move. NFL owners will receive an update on the stadium situation when they meet Wednesday in the Dallas area. The Raiders also have the option of moving to the Los Angeles area, where they can share a facility with the recently relocated Rams.A spokesman for the Raiders did not return requests for comment.Former Los Angeles Raiders great Marcus Allen made an emotional pitch to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors and later to the Oakland City Council, saying that losing the team would be devasstating for Oakland. Puma Rihanna Creepers Italia. What the Raiders mean to Oakland is what the Packers mean to Green Bay, he said Tuesday. Oakland is the epicenter of Raider Nation. They have what you call The Black Hole. This city will have a black hole if [the Raiders] dont stay in the city of Oakland.Other speakers urged caution even as they pledged support. They said officials should negotiate jobs and affordable housing for residents in east Oakland, where the Coliseum is located, given the soaring cost of housing throughout the city.A sticking point was that Alameda County and Oakland still need to retire nearly $100 million in debt incurred from remodeling the current stadium to woo the team back from Los Angeles in 1995.The parties have identified $1.25 billion in potential financing for a project that might cost upward of $1.3 billion for a 55,000-seat stadium that could include mixed-use retail in the future.Lotts team, which includes the Fortress Investment Group, would contribute $400 million, with the NFL and the Raiders contributing $500 million. The city of Oakland would contribute $200 million for infrastructure such as storm drains and roadway parking. The money would be generated from bonds paid back from revenue created from the stadium and its surrounding commercial development. The city and county would also contribute at least 100 acres of land, valued at $150 million. One of the issues to be determined is whether the land would be sold or leased.Supervisor Keith Carson grilled a representative of Fortress for details on payment and revenue. He voted no.Supervisor Wilma Chan abstained. She said at the hearing that though fans have remained loyal, she isnt sure the Raiders want to stay.Board President Scott Haggerty joined supervisors Richard Valle and Nate Miley in moving forward, despite the many unknowns. What it comes down for me is trust, and my mother would trust Ronnie Lott, he said. I trust this man, and hes somebody I want to do business with, and I hope hes somebody Mark Davis wants to do business with.Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
